Better Buzz Coffee is seeking baristas to help us in our brand new location which we expect will open August of 2026: 15122 Bear Valley Rd. Victorville, CA 92395.

We seek those who are: gregarious, hospitable, accommodating, competitive, energetic, and available to work at least 22 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Base pay is $17 per hour. You will earn tips once the new location is open to the public. In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion. Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.
Responsibilities include delivering the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service, being knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks, preparing and serving beverages and food consistently following recipe standards, working all caf positions including working in our kitchens to make food to order, and keeping our space clean, safe always ready for guests and teammates.
Our baristas have the opportunity to learn the entirety of our business: cashier - point of sale, expo - inside & outside order taking, working the drive-thru (if drive-thru), supporting third-party delivery & online orders, and back of house - cooking & prepping.
Qualifications include 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred, passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service, strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude, reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
