Welder/Fabricator

STARK COUNTY

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. This role involves setting up, assembling, and welding a variety of metal alloys to precise specifications and drawings. Candidates should have experience with MIG, TIG, and brazing processes and take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, brazing, and other welding processes on steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Fabricate and assemble custom weldments and fixtures
• Set up and monitor welding equipment for proper operation
• Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity
• Grind, deburr, and finish materials as needed
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
• Follow ASME standards and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Welding training from an accredited welding program preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Capability to pass ASME 6G weld certification
• Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred
• ASME welding experience and certifications are a plus
