Job Description

Salary $20.49 per hour, IPERS, eligible for vacation and holiday pay on a pro‑rated full‑time equivalent basis. Description Responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director to ensure the efficient operation of the Conservation Board. Performs a variety of clerical duties and basic accounting functions: editing written materials, acting as a receptionist, answering phone calls, assisting visitors, processing bi‑monthly claims and monthly claim reports, and assisting in preparing and monitoring project budgets and expenditures. Assists with public relations, marketing activities, and environmental education events. Other duties include janitorial tasks. The work schedule is 28 or fewer hours per week, with occasional weekend and evening work required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent and two months of clerical or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities. Other Requirements Proficiency with MS Office Suite; background check prior to employment.
