Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or B Truck Driver to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our company's success by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of crop inputs to farms in our local area. Responsibilities

  • Transport goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants, customer locations or directly to local farms.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform pre-trip inspections.
  • Follow delivery instructions to efficiently meet delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Help load and mix crop protection and fertilizer products.
  • Report defects, accidents or violations.
  • Assist production team when needed by operating plant equipment such as forklifts and loaders.
  • Help maintain inventory of products.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment, including manual.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner communication.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed.
  • Ability to work overtime during our peak season.
  • Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
  • Hazmat and tanker experience a plus!
