ACARA Solutions and our client located in Cannonsburg, PA have a contract-to-hire position available

Advanced Shipping Associate (1st shift) $25.36-$28.99 Active Secret clearance is required at the time of hire

The Advanced Shipping Associate will perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties by processing outgoing shipments. This will include finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, equipment, etc. Basically, you'll prepare merchandise for shipping, maintain records, and check invoices and bills of lading. You'll also answer calls and respond to inquiries regarding tracking of product and freight costs and file freight claims, if product is lost or damaged.

• Solid understanding of general and detailed aspects of the shipping process and their practical application to problems/situations
• Skillful knowledge of shipping activities/processes, including classified materials

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Outstanding customer service, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to actively develop continuous improvement strategies.

Additional Information:

• Requires an active Secret Clearance.
• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
