About the Role:

The Tower Foreman plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the construction, maintenance, and safety compliance of tower structures within the construction industry. This position is responsible for managing on-site teams, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Tower Foreman acts as the primary point of contact between field crews and corporate management, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow. Success in this role results in the timely and safe completion of tower projects that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Tower Foreman ensures that all operational objectives are met while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tower construction or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience managing construction crews.
  • Strong knowledge of tower erection, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in tower climbing and rescue techniques.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification.
  • Experience with project management software and reporting tools.
  • Technical training or certification in telecommunications or structural engineering.
  • First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead tower construction and maintenance crews to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and logistical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and incidents reported on site.
  • Train and mentor crew members to enhance skills, safety awareness, and productivity.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or unexpected challenges to minimize downtime and risk.
