We are looking for a skilled Social Media Specialist to create and manage organic content across multiple platforms for an organization in the education industry. This long-term contract position is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, and requires a creative individual with a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of branding and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in social media content creation and campaign management, with a focus on innovative and visually appealing designs.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute organic social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
• Create and schedule engaging content that aligns with the brand's voice and standards, including visuals, captions, and text overlays.
• Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of posts and campaigns.
• Utilize tools such as Canva and CapCut to design static assets and edit short-form videos.
• Apply and maintain brand guidelines consistently across all content formats.
• Monitor social media channels, analyzing performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teams to support influencer-style content creation while adhering to organizational standards.
• Provide recommendations for boosting posts and enhancing reach across channels.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to drive innovation in campaigns.
• Ensure all content complies with brand and design standards while maintaining high-quality output.

• 1 plus years of experience in creating organic social media content and campaigns.

• Proficiency in Canva and similar design tools for creating visually appealing assets.

• Strong skills in short-form video editing, with experience using tools like CapCut.

• Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.

• Ability to maintain brand guidelines across all aspects of content creation.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to measure and improve campaign performance.

• Experience in planning and managing content calendars.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
