Grade Level: Early Childhood (Preschool)
Start Date: November 2025
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week | Onsite | 8:30am–3:30 PM
Salary Range: $46–$58 per hour
Position Type: FMLA Coverage | November 2025 – March 2026
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood School Social Worker to support preschool students. This role provides the rewarding opportunity to support young learners during a key developmental period, working alongside an incredibly collaborative and supportive school community. This assignment is a great fit for a Social Worker who enjoys Early Childhood, values relationship-building, and thrives in a play-based, push-in model. You’ll join a district that is welcoming to clinicians—we currently have an SLP supporting the middle school, and they absolutely love it!
What You’ll Do
Provide school social work services to preschool-aged students
Support students primarily through push-in services within classroom settings
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
Assist with social-emotional learning, behavioral support, and early intervention strategies
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
Caseload Details
Early Childhood caseload at one school
Primarily push-in model
~35 hours per week (full-time)
Support general education and special education early learners
Office space provided (school will confirm designated location)
Qualifications
Current Illinois IDFPR School Social Work License
Valid PEL with School Social Worker endorsement
Experience working with Early Childhood populations preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
