AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school team in St. Francis, MN to support an Elementary School Social Worker!
This school-based School Social Worker position offers a clearly defined caseload, strong clinical support, and a structured academic-year assignment. You’ll step into a thoughtfully prepared role with continuity, collaboration, and sustainability at the forefront.
Position Overview
Location: St. Francis, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (30-minute duty-free lunch)
Hours: 7.5-hour school days
Pay Rate: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience and education
Start Date: February 23
End Date: June 6
This role is available for an ASAP start, with support in place for a smooth onboarding and strong potential for continued placement or future school-year opportunities
Caseload & Setting Details
Elementary level (Kindergarten–4th grade)
One school building
Students primarily in general education settings with special education services
Service delivery is exclusively pull-out
Most students seen once weekly; a small number seen twice weekly
Students may have behavior plans, though higher-intensity needs are supported in separate programs
No case management responsibilities
Support with IEPs focused primarily on goal updates
All student data and planning materials will be transitioned from the current social worker
Private office space available for individual sessions and documentation
Student day runs 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Your Impact (Responsibilities)
As a School Social Worker, you will:
Provide direct social work services to students with IEPs
Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student goals
Support IEP development through goal updates and progress documentation
Partner with a welcoming, collaborative school team
Maintain organized and ethical documentation aligned with school-based practices
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Minnesota Board of Social Work (MN BOSW) license (or eligibility to obtain)
Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) School Social Worker license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience or interest in school-based social work
Comfort working with elementary-aged students
A collaborative, student-centered approach
