General Manager (Bilingual Spanish/English)
Lancers Family Restaurant – Burbank, CA Pay: $80,000 + Performance Incentives Benefits: 401k
The Opportunity Lancers has been a beloved Burbank staple since 1962. We’re looking for a high-energy, hands-on leader to lead this iconic diner into its next chapter. This is not a desk job—we need an operator with an "owner-mindset" who leads from the floor and treats the business like their own.
The Multi-Lingual Advantage A significant portion of our dedicated team is Spanish-speaking. To lead effectively and bridge the gap between FOH and BOH, professional fluency in both Spanish and English is a non-negotiable requirement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead from the Floor: Manage FOH & BOH teams with visible, high-energy leadership during mornings, nights, and weekends.
Drive Growth: Bring fresh ideas and community initiatives to attract new clientele while honoring our 60-year legacy.
Operational Excellence: Improve systems, service standards, and guest experience while managing labor and food costs.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and retain a strong, accountable, and bilingual team.
Qualifications
Language: Must be professionally fluent in Spanish and English .
Experience: 3–7+ years of restaurant leadership (GM, AGM, or similar).
Knowledge: Strong FOH & BOH operational skills; high-volume or diner experience is a major plus.
Certifications: Valid CA Food Handler & Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
Drive: A natural problem-solver who is comfortable leading both seasoned staff and new hires.
