Job Description About the Role: Van-Des Talent Solutions is hiring a Junior Project Manager for a well-regarded general contractor in the Greater DFW area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated early-career professional to gain hands-on project experience, work closely with senior leaders, and grow within a high-performing construction team delivering complex commercial and multi-family developments. Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day project coordination and provide support throughout the full construction life cycle—from preconstruction through closeout. Help implement and maintain the project safety plan, demonstrating a commitment to site safety protocols and procedures. Support tracking of project performance, including cost forecasts, schedules, and subcontractor deliverables. Participate in subcontractor coordination, progress meetings, and field inspections. Help manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure construction aligns with design intent, timelines, and budget constraints. Communicate proactively with stakeholders to address project needs and potential challenges. Participate in project closeout tasks such as punch list tracking and turnover package assembly. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience). 4+ years of progressive experience in construction project coordination or site support, preferably in commercial or multi-family projects. Basic understanding of construction methods, safety practices, and contract administration. Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent platforms is preferred. OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
