Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, motivated and knowledgeable Journeyman Electrician. In this role, you will be responsible for leading crews during installing and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial projects. Your leadership will ensure safe and reliable electrical installations are completed while adhering to applicable electrical codes and occupational safety standards.

Duties

• Oversee the installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on commercial projects using drawings and technical specifications.
• Layout and guide Electricians based on electrical drawings and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of systems.
• Use and supervise use of hand tools, power tools, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
• Ensure crews follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction projects, identifying potential hazards or code violations.
• Collaborate and coordinate with GC's construction superintendent and other trades during construction projects to meet deadlines.
• Maintain photographic and written records of completed work.
• Ensure all work is performed safely while adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Skills

• Proven experience as a commercial Journeyman electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to accurately read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and testing devices essential for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of NEC standards.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing construction environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with hands-on experience.
• Leading and collaborating with electricians and other trades.
• Valid Colorado driver's license and clean MVR required.
• Must possess your own basic hand tools.
• Good work ethic and professional attitude are necessary.
• Must be reliable and know how to take the initiative and work safely.
