Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Life & Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off Retirement Savings Plan & Employee Discounts Job Details Employee Relations & Compliance Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries — benefits, onboarding, offboarding, policy interpretation, and status changes Partner with supervisors on employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, promotions, and performance concerns Advise leadership on HR best practices, employment law, EEO compliance, and harassment prevention Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation at all times Talent Acquisition & Development Manage full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding Conduct new-hire orientations covering policies, procedures, workplace expectations, and benefits Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events Administration Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and administer ongoing benefits changes Track attendance, vacation accruals, and sick leave balances Maintain and update the employee handbook and company policies as regulations evolve Payroll Own end-to-end payroll processing — salaries, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings — on schedule and error-free Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, rate adjustments, and employee updates Maintain payroll records, reports, and audit-ready documentation Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations Support internal and external payroll audits by providing required records and documentation Continuously identify and implement improvements to payroll systems and processes Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience 7+ years in HR & payroll administration; manufacturing or food production experience a plus Systems ADP Workforce Now preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Compliance Knowledge Strong command of California labor law, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, EEO, and unemployment regulations Language Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish — required Core Competencies Excellent communicator; highly organized; strong judgment; ability to maintain confidentiality Interested in hearing more?
