We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Deep Cleaner to join our cleaning team at the Best Western Grant Creek Inn. This position will be only for deep cleans, and not a standard housekeeping position. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel rooms.


The ideal candidate will have experience in thorough cleaning procedures, possess strong attention to detail, and be committed to providing exceptional service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality and professionalism. Very flexible and independent scheduling with this position (you make your own schedule).

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of rooms, including detailed dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and products to ensure thorough sanitation
• Address hard-to-reach areas such as behind furniture, under appliances, and high surfaces
• Manage waste disposal and ensure proper handling of cleaning supplies
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, custodial work, or related fields
• Familiarity with hotel cleaning, commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is a plus
• Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks in residential or industrial settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team
• Prior porter or maintenance experience is advantageous but not required
