Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Grinder Operator to join their team. As a Grinder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting machining and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to work, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Grinder Operator

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 2nd, 2:30pm - 11pm

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate grinders, both manually and CNC operated, to produce precise parts.
• Hold tight tolerances and surface finishes to ensure high-quality output.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to meet specifications.
• Use micrometers and indicators to measure small increments as precise as 0.0001”.
• Identify abnormalities in the machining process, such as tool wear or surface finish issues, and address them promptly.

What's Needed?

• Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with micrometers and indicators for precise measurements.
• Ability to measure small increments accurately (up to 0.0001”).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
