Position:
French Language Teaching
Teaching Load:
For teaching staff: a fixed teaching load of 16 sessions per week, plus a minimum of 2 academic support sessions per week (each lasting 45 minutes).
For Programme Coordinators or Deputy Directors of the French Language Studies and Training Center (IFC Renmin): a fixed teaching load of 14 sessions per week, plus a minimum of 2 academic support sessions per week (each lasting 45 minutes).

Remuneration and Benefits
Monthly Gross Salary (before tax):
* CNY 13,000 for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree
* CNY 14,000 for candidates holding a Master’s degree
Additional Allowances:
Programme Coordinator: CNY 1,500/month (gross)
Deputy Director: CNY 2,500/month (gross)
Teaching Bonus:
An annual teaching bonus of CNY 7,500 (before tax) will be awarded if the semester teaching evaluation score reaches 90/100 or above throughout the contract period.
* The bonus will not be granted if the evaluation requirement is not met.
* The bonus will not be paid in case of resignation during the contract period.
* If the contract is not renewed upon expiration, the teaching bonus for the final semester will not be granted.
Holidays:
Summer vacation: approximately 8 weeks (July–August)
Winter vacation: approximately 4 weeks (January–February)
Social Security:
Teachers will be enrolled in the social security system in accordance with national and local regulations. The university will handle all necessary administrative procedures and obligations.
Work Permit/Residence Permit:
The cost of the residence permit in China (once per year upon employment) will be covered by IFC.

Recruitment Requirements
Recruitment complies with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the policies of Renmin University of China and its Suzhou Campus. Age limit:generally under 50 years old (subject to current regulations).
Native French speaker
Educational Background:
A university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in FLE (French as a Foreign Language), linguistics, literature, or humanities and social sciences.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of teaching experience in FLE, supported by employment certificates or recommendation letters.
Exception:
Candidates holding degrees or certifications in language teaching, pedagogy, or recognized teaching qualifications (e.g., teaching certificates for French as a foreign language) may be exempt from the 2-year experience requirement, subject to national regulations.
