Minimum Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or graduate of an accredited travel school is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a retail/leisure travel agent (or other comparable travel experience) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Retail experience required.
- Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation required within 2 years of job acceptance.
- Existing book of business strongly preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Ability to respond to customer inquiries and interact with individuals.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient using the Internet, AAA Intranet, Travel booking sites, and other applicable legacy and web-based PC applications used to process work and service client requests.
- Ability to complete all AAA Travel Agent training via AAA-University and class attendance is required.
- Working knowledge of geography and the ability to use manual (paper) or PC based maps.
What We Offer: - Base Salary: The starting base compensation for this position is $18.00 to $29.31/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
- Monthly Incentives: This position is eligible to earn incentive pay with an average payout of $550 - $1,500 per month, after approximately 6 months of employment.
