We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Entry Level Video Editor to join our growing team. This is a full-time position and will report directly to the Video Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for video editing and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and events
- Collaborate with the Video Production Manager and other team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects
- Utilize various video editing software and tools to enhance video quality and create engaging content
- Add music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the overall production value of videos
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video editing skills and processes
- Manage and organize video assets and maintain a library of footage and graphics
- Assist with video shoots and other production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing or a related role
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback into video projects
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work is preferred
