Job Duties

 

1. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

2. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

3. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

4. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

5. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

6. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

 

Candidate Requirements:
• Must be a Texas Licensed Journeyman Electrician
• Strong residential service experience, because that’s what we do
• Must be an accurate residential trouble shooter, with knowledge of current NEC
• Great customer service and customer communication skills both oral and written
• Must be able to explain electrical problems, solutions, options and recommendations
• Ability to accurately estimate, educate and sell the latest technology in electrical products
• Must be hard working and efficient with a positive attitude and be a TEAM player
• Must be Clean-Cut, we provide the uniforms; you provide the razor and smile
• Have a strong work ethic, initiative and be an effective time manager
• Will take instruction and responsibility for personal growth & bettering themselves
• Ability to follow company guidelines and highest quality standards
• Must have current Texas electrical and driver’s licenses
