Progress Supply Inc. , a Larson Company, is looking for a driver!

• Job is Monday-Friday, No Holidays or Weekends!
• Team atmosphere, working together to accomplish delivering orders
• Positive attitude is a must, good attendance record is critical
• Looking for a team player to drive customer service
• Forklift experience preferred, good safety record.
• CDL B or C with Hazmat preferred but willing to train the right person! Federal Medical Certificate (Health card) will be needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Delivers or picks up product at various locations in a safe & efficient manner, consisting mostly of interbranch transfers
• Coordinates with management most efficient and safe delivery route
• Verifies with customer or vendor at time of delivery accuracy & satisfactory condition of product being shipped
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service and represent company in a professional manner
• Assists with warehouse duties or counter sales when needed
• Performs pre and post trip inspections & notifies management of any needed maintenance or safety issues

Qualification Requirements

• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, receptive to direct supervision.
• Proactive, ability to work independently and execute job duties with minimal supervision. Requires an ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Intermittent periods of physical exertion are required (i.e. walking, standing, and stooping).
• Organized, detail, and goal-oriented. Excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective Team Player cooperates and interacts well with customers and members of Gustave A. Larson Company.
• Full-Time position, occasional overtime may be required.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer Class B OR C CDL or willing to train to obtain CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Forklift certified preferred.
• Ability to lift 70lbs
• Basic computer skills.
• Clear driving record.
