Position Summary

Being a part of our international faith-based organization you will be focusing on how to improve the security of our on and off premise systems that are reachable locally and globally. You must be a strong communicator who is effective at working with a team to be able to deconflict elaborate problems to achieve the desired outcome This is a volunteer/supported position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Technology Infrastructure Manager.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cyber security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean and effective policy.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of security services.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Position Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one SIEM (Splunk, ELK, Security Onion).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
