Duration: 06 Months Contract (Subject to change based on customer requirements) Location: Nashville, TN Market Note: Mileage reimbursement is not provided Travel: Candidate to drive their own vehicle to and from ATMs in their local area. Field Service Technicians . In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). No prior ATM experience is required-comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a technical career in field services, especially for individuals with little or no prior relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and component/module replacements on ATMs.
- Diagnose issues using error logs and information provided in service calls.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage parts efficiently.
- Provide timely updates on job status and escalate issues as needed.
- Complete all required company-specific training and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with all security and safety procedures when working in financial environments.
- Own customer issues through to resolution, in accordance with SLA agreements.
- Submit accurate reports and documentation related to daily service activity.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: - Frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
- Potential for prolonged local travel depending on service territory.
- Must be able to lift and carry tools/parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Daily dispatch may be scheduled in advance or assigned on a rolling basis.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone) to receive assignments and access support materials.
- Possess basic hand tools, including #1 and #2 flathead and Phillips screwdrivers.
Preferred Qualifications: - Associate degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience servicing ATMs or similar electronic/electromechanical equipment.
Candidate Attributes: - Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
- Self-starter with a high level of personal integrity.
- Able to work independently and perform under pressure.
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift demands.
