Commercial/Industrial Service Plumber

Location: Novi, MI
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation: $35-$42/hour (DOE) + Overtime (OT after 8 hours)

Position Overview

A leading industrial service provider is seeking a Commercial/Industrial Service Plumber to support a high-demand service operation across the Novi and surrounding Metro Detroit area . This is a service-focused role (not new construction) , supporting a mix of commercial and industrial clients with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, repair, and system maintenance.

This position is ideal for a Journeyman or Master Plumber who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants long-term growth into advanced certifications and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial environments
• Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and gas systems
• Perform service on fixtures, piping systems, and mechanical plumbing components
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotation (24/7 operation)
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding job scope and solutions
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and job documentation
• Collaborate with other divisions (HVAC, electrical, industrial services) on integrated service work

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber License required (Master preferred or desire to obtain)
• 2+ years of commercial and/or industrial plumbing experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability in service environments
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and digital work order systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Self-starter with strong communication skills and adaptability

Compensation & Benefits

• $35–$42/hour + OT after 8 hours worked daily
