CNC Machinist We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with strong setup and operating experience to support high-speed milling of aluminum components in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining close tolerances while maximizing machine utilization, quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Perform full CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting on vertical machining centers. Optimize cycle times and maintain maximum spindle up time. Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings to produce precision components. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators) Manage tooling, offsets, tool life, and fixture adjustments. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, programmers, and quality teams to resolve machining issues. Support new job setups, engineering changes, and production deadlines. Maintain accurate setup sheets, inspection records, and change documentation. Train CNC loaders and team members on updated processes and best practices Qualifications 2+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers in a manufacturing environment. Technical degree in CNC Precision Machining or equivalent hands-on experience Strong understanding of high-speed aluminum milling Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, boring bars, and fixturing Please submit a resume for consideration.
