Express Employment Professionals is seeking a high-level and mid-level Controller for an automotive dealership in Roanoke, VA - The Star City of the South!

Full-Time Position

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting - Prepare & analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with dealership & manufacturer guidelines.
Financial Planning & Analysis - Develop strategies to improve profitability and ROI.
Expense Management - Identify cost-saving opportunities & guide expense control.
Accounting Operations - Maintain financial records & ensure GAAP compliance.
Tax Compliance - Oversee tax reporting & ensure timely payments.
Cash Management - Optimize cash flow & minimize financial risk.


Requirements:
3-5+ years in an automotive dealership as a Controller or Business Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (not mandatory).
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, & industry best practices .
Proficiency in CDK (preferred) & Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, & able to meet deadlines.
